David is such a genuine guy and so passionate about photography and the city of Edinburgh, that it's impossible not to have a fantastic time with him!

His knowledge of the city is second to none and he showed us all the nooks and crannies and his favourite picture spots. Our tour was a very well balanced mix of background information, fun facts, photography chat and laughter!

While my partner is a hobby photographer in the first steps of going freelance, I merely joined the tour with my mobile phone camera and curiosity. David did amazingly well at accommodating both our interests and giving us useful advice.

We definitely felt like we were in the best hands and can't wait to spend more time with David during our next visit!

What a great tour. David was amazing - he enthused such passion about Edinburgh and photography and was so attentive to our teenage children giving them great advice not just with photography but with life in general.

Although it was a wet afternoon, this did not spoil the tour - David took us into some really interesting buildings and shared some great tips on how to take a more interesting photograph from differing perspectives.

This tour far exceeded our expectations - David was a real joy to listen to (much to our surprise he overran by an hour - we could have gone on for longer), but we walked away with a real enthusiasm for photography. Thank you x
